Interpretive Faux Fresco Series

A fresco is the application of paint to wet plaster. Influenced by ancient Roman frescoes, the artist replicates versions of traditional master or original artworks using a 'faux fresco' technique of fiber board, plaster, and other materials. The artist’s signature does not appear on the front of the artwork in order not to disrupt the flow of design so it appears as if it is an actual portion of fresco that has fallen from an ancient wall or ceiling.
