Students
learned about the mosaics of San Marco Cathedral and the importance of
mosaics in history. For their projects, students were to bring in or
choose an animal photo and sketch it. The class then ripped a variety
of colorful pages from magazines and used small torn pieces of color to
create a realistically shaded final product.
